She was predeceased by: her husband Kirby S. Jones; her daughter Cynthia Ann Jones; her son-in-law Gerald Malpass; her parents, Hallie Brinson and Betty Virginia Barwick Brinson; and her siblings, Earl Brinson, James Brinson, Jackie Evans, Betty Mae Thigpen and Carolyn Brinson.
She is survived by: her children, Joy Jones Malpass of Mount Olive, Tim (Lisa S. Jones) and Matt (Billie Jo Jones); her grandchildren, Corine M. Holmes (Glen), Goldsboro, Abby M. Harper (Gary) of Kenansville, Josh Malpass (Kelly) of Mount Olive, Trevor Jones of Faison, Taylor Jones of Southport, Rylee Jo Jones of Mount Olive and Madelyn Jones of Mount Olive; her great grandchildren, Emma Holmes, Allie Holmes, Landon Harper, Alivia Harper, Lucas Malpass, Savannah Malpass and Ivy Malpass; and her sister Marilyn B. Brock of Wallace. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
