She is survived by: her children, Patricia Bell, Norris Dyson, Robert Mathis III, James Mathis, McKinley Mathis, Renea Mathis Teresa Kornegay and Larry Mathis; her sister Mamie Andrews; her grandchildren, Ashely Smith and McKinley Mathis Jr.; her great grandchild Nubian Mathis; and her brother Ernest Dyson. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
