He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur McLean and Cummie Quinn McLean; and his siblings, Sula Smith, Dora Hodges, Thomas Pettiford, Luis McLean, Lucy McLean and Betty March.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa McLean of Kenansville, Tobias McLean (Carrie) of Raleigh, Rounchey M. Edmondson of Chesterfield, VA. and Dee-Dee Harvey-Duncan (Carlos) of Goldsboro; and his sister Prozora McLean of Connecticut. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
