He is survived by: his children, Tatum Hinson Whitfield (Garrad Whitfield) and Phillip Luke Hinson; the mother of his children Kylie Swinson Hinson of Mount Olive; his parents, Ronnie Hinson of Mount Olive and Phyllis Ann Nunn Powers of Holly Springs; and his sister Jennifer Purdy (Toby) of Mount Olive. He is also survived by in-laws; and many friends.
