With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rachel Gurley Lytton (Mount Olive, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Guy Linwood Lytton; her parents, Leland Gurley and Ruth Ingram Gurley; and her siblings, Robert Gurley, Edward Gurley, Shade Gurley, Ervin Gurley, Jimmy Gurley and Maggie Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Paul Ray (Lynne T. Myers) and Lester A. (Tara K. Myers); her grandchildren, Kayla M. Denning (Lee) of Mount Olive, Darren Ray Myers of Durham and Kendall Myers of Raleigh; her great grandchildren, Stephen Lee Denning, Jr., Hayleigh Denning and Emma Rae Denning; and her siblings, Roy Gurley (Barbara) of Goldsboro, Raeford Gurley (Helen) of Goldsboro, Arthur Gurley of Goldsboro and Lynette Glance (Lenny) of Maury. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
