She was predeceased by: her mother Patsy Jackson Truckenbrod. She is survived by: her husband Dell Hainey; her son Tyler Powell (Ashley) of Mount Olive; her grandsons, Bryson Powell and Liam Powell of Mount Olive; her father Ronald P. Truckenbrod; her stepmother Karen Truckenbrod of Mount Olive; her stepdaughter Caitlyn Hainey of Clinton; her stepgrandchildren, Makayla Casey, Zaylie Casey and Lakelyn Casey; her sisters, April J. Reaves (Brad) of Nebraska and Holly T. Denning (Chad) of Mount Olive; and her stepsiblings, Emily Jenkins of Goldsboro and Jonathan Daniels (Amy) of Goldsboro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Rhonda was all about helping others, and in that realm, it is requested that, in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be made to Cures for the Colors, c/o Southeastern Cancer Center, 203 Cox Blvd., Goldsboro, NC 27534, in hopes that these funds will help others who are fighting cancer and its effects, just as she had done in years passed.
