She is survived by: her husband Vernon Carter; her daughters, Gail D. Herring of Calypso and Connie D. (Robert Strickland); her sister Mary Ann; her brother-in-law Ricky Willis of Newport; her grandsons, Adam Herring and Josh Herring (Robyne); her great grandchildren, Harley Plourde (Tyler), Parker Herring, Raegan Herring, Cannon Herring and Scarlett Herring; and her great great grandchild Blake Plourde.
