We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2024, at the age of 85, Waitt Brantley Best of Mount Olive, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Julius Daniel Best and Vennie Vann Best; his wives, Geneverette Wise Best and Marie Thornton Best; and his grandsons, Michael Ray Gardner and Brantley Daniel Best.
He is survived by : his children, Kaye Best Gardner (Jimmie) and Marvin Brantley Best (Beth); his granddaughter Deanna Kay Gardner (Travis); and his sister Joyce Sutton of California.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Wayne Memorial Park (2925 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333).
