She was predeceased by : her parents, Kenneth Ray Pittman and Ruth Sullivan Smith; and her brother Michael Pittman. She is survived by : her children, Ashley Strickland of Seven Springs, Jason Garner of Goldsboro, Alexander Ray Garner of Goldsboro and William D. Strickland of Seven Springs; and her siblings, Kenneth Pittman, Jr. (Denise) of Santee, CA, Billy Pittman (Chris) of Indialantic, FL, Cindy Ferguson (Ken) of New Bern, Martha Verhoff (Steven) of Richlands, Nicholas Pittman (Lynda) of Miler City, OH and Jesse Pittman (Jessica) of Johnstown, OH.. She is also survived by grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tyndall Funeral Home (1005 N Church St, Mt Olive, NC 28365). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be directed to Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC.
