It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bennie Ruth Hunsucker of Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, who passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Lee Baucom and Verla Helms Baucom; her husbands, Gene M. Love and Lester Hunsucker; and her daughter Jane Ellen Love.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Cannon and Cathy Fitzgerald; and her grandchildren, Katie Williams, Mandy Murray, Jenny Lambert and Bradly Cannon.
