We announce the death of Stephen Stancil of Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, who passed away on July 10, 2026, at the age of 77. Stephen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Stephen’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stancil and Marie Fink Stancil. He is survived by: his wife Janet Hill Stancil; his son Brian Stancil; and his siblings, Richard Stancil (Sylvia), Ailene Monroe, Kimberly Coyle and Karen Harris (Greg). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
