She was predeceased by: her parents, Burdette Hughes and Marcella Gillespie Hughes; her son Joshua Edwards; her sisters, Christine Robinson and Gloria Boone; and her brother-in-law Ed Robinson.
She is survived by: her husband Hiram "Pete" Edwards; her grandchildren, Luke Edwards and Jordan Edwards; her sister Linda Hughes; and her aunt Mildred Dillenger.
