He is survived by: his wife Sherlene Goode Lyda; his children, Julie Lyda Singleton (Jerry), Christopher Steven Lyda (Mandy) and Michael Jonathan Lyda; his grandchildren, Christian, Joshua Singleton, Raema, Malachi Lyda, Megan, Michael Hunter and Gabriel Lyda; his great grandchildren, Malin Lyda and Tate Pries; and his siblings, Howard Lyda (Sheril), Lee Lyda (Sandra) and Barbara Webb. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
