She is survived by: her children, Brian Riddick of Murfreesboro, NC, Aaron Riddick (Devin) of Gates, NC, Edward Riddick of Fort Wayne, IN and Angie Machinila (Matthew) of Roanoke, IN; and her siblings, Ida Mae Caldwell of Augusta, GA, Peggy Jones of Winton, NC, Edith Young of Hubert, NC, Joel Person of Hubert, NC and Charles Person of Gates, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hunter's Funeral Home - Gates (701 US-158, Gates, NC 27937). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at 1102 US-158, Sunbury, NC 27979.
