She was predeceased by: her parents, William Tell Williford and Dorothy Rae Rogerson Williford; her husband Stanley Sherwood Godwin; and her brother William Tell Williford, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Jeana Cowan (Brad) of Ahoskie, Mark William Godwin (April) of Ahoskie and Stanley "Stan" Sherwood Godwin, Jr. (Deborah) of Alvarado, TX.; her grandchildren, Slade Godwin Cowan (Baylee) of Ahoskie, Kaitlynn Jean Godwin of Ahoskie, Kristen Emma Godwin of Ahoskie, Stanley Sherwood Godwin, III of Burleson, TX and Sherwood "Wood" Gray Godwin of Alvarado, TX; her great grandchild Stella Rae Cowan; and her sister Jacqulyn Ann Williford Manning of Rich Square, NC.
