She was predeceased by: her parents, Voyd "John" Wallace and Willa Bennett Wallace; her husband Edward Adam Helton; her daughter Wanda Kay Anderson; and her brothers, Nathaniel Wallace (Sonny) and John Wallace (Pug).

She is survived by: her daughter Willena Ann Helton; her sisters, Sue Graves and Becky Ballew; her grandchildren, Stephanie Hass (Curtis), Blake Helton, Wade Anderson, Cory Anderson and Robert "Bo" Helton; and her great grandchildren, Catelyn White, Olivia Anderson, Anslee Hass, Nala Anderson, Noah Anderson and Damian Anderson.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home (138 Peachtree St, Murphy, NC 28906). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel (138 Peachtree St, Murphy, NC 28906).
