It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lucille Davis of Murphy, North Carolina, born in Cherokee, North Carolina, who passed away on November 20, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Kephart and Dossie Sneed Kephart; and her husband Howard Davis. She is survived by: her children, Rickey Davis (Robin), Randall Davis (Gloria) and Reta Hogsed (Danny); her sister Clydie Rogers; and her grandsons, Caleb Hogsed (Holly) and Jacob Hogsed.
