She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Tanner and Geneva James Tanner; and her husband John D. Robertson. She is survived by: her son Hal Robertson (Jodi) of Murphy; her grandchildren, Tyler and Emily Robertson; and her brother James Tanner (Emma) of Murphy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made in memory of Bobbie Jean Robertson to Tomotla Baptist Church, 262 Hayes Rd. Marble, NC 28905.
