He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Paul and Frankie Hutchinson Stroud; his son Curtis Hewatt; and his brother Bruce Stroud. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Gibby Stroud; his children, Randy Griffith, Serena "Cissy" Hewatt and Casandra "Candy" Hewatt; his siblings, Johnny "Vern" Stroud (Angie), Paula "Polly" Ware (Tommy) and Ramona Hensley; and his sister-in-law Audrey Stroud. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
