He was predeceased by: his parents, James Beaver and Lillie Allen Beaver of Murphy; his wife Barbara Adams Beaver; and his siblings, Howard Beaver, Hoyt Beaver (Obe), Margie Morrow and Juanita Bryson.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Dockery; his grandchildren, Jamey Dockery (Ashley) and Hannah Dockery (Bailey Carpenter); his great grandchildren, Zemery Dockery (Whistlepig) and Lexington Dockery (Chipmunk); and his siblings, Melvin Beaver (Shirley), Austin Beaver, Opal Chambers and Linda Sue Patterson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel (138 Peachtree St, Murphy, NC 28906). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
