He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jenkins, Jr. and Mary Jane Carbone Jenkins; and his sister Elaine Dickey. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Stickley Jenkins; his children, Eric Jenkins (Karen), Heather Kay Parsons Sansom and Nora Lee Lents (Christopher); and his grandchildren, Lucas Michael, London Eve and Kyra Lee Sansom.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home (138 Peachtree St, Murphy, NC 28906). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Shady Grove Baptist Church (198 Shady Grove Rd, Murphy, NC 28906).
