She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas "Luke" Hunsucker and Cornecie "Necie" Worley Hunsucker; and her siblings, Elmer Hunsucker of Murphy, Homer Hunsucker of Murphy, Clifford Hunsucker of Oakridge and Clara Mae Carroll of Murphy.
She is survived by: her brother Clyde Hunsucker of Murphy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and at 1:00 PM at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel (138 Peachtree St, Murphy, NC 28906).
