It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Matthew Roach of Murphy, North Carolina, who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Juanita Roach of Hayesville, NC; his brother Garland Russell Roach of Monticello, GA; and his grandson Matthew Laney. He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Roach Marcus (Keith Marcus) of Murphy and Angie Roach Dockery (Scott Dockery) of Murphy; his grandchildren, Zachary Laney, Seth Laney, Corey Marcus and Whitney Marcus-Eller (Korey Eller); and his great grandchild Shelby Rae Eller.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of David Matthew Roach to the Fires Creek Church, c/o Audrey Shelton, 260 Roach Cove Road, Hayesville, NC 28904.
