We are sad to announce that, on April 11, 2026, at the age of 65, Eddie Joe Woods (Murphy, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Eddie may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eddie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Waystle Woods; and his siblings, Jerry Woods and Donna Sue Farmer. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Woods; his mother Mildred Woods of Murphy; his daughter Heather Morrison; and his grandchildren, Henry, James and Madison Morrison.
