She was predeceased by: her former husband John L Blackwell; her husband Bruce Garner; her parent Mabel Elmore; her daughter Sandra B. Young; her siblings, Eloise Duval and J. L. Elmore; and her grandsons, C. Paul Young and J. Christopher Young.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Ainslee B. Smith, Claire Segura, Margaret Pyatt and Kimberly Young. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; and ten great-great grandchildren.
