He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann Jones; his children, Kent Jones and Kim Loudermilk; his parents, Dewey Gay Jones and Laura Mae Phillips Jones; and his siblings, Viola Gibbie, Arlene Hardy, Dorothy Bryant, Sadie Donaldson and Bobby Jones.

He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Howard (RL) and Lisa Dickey (Tim); his siblings-in-law, Steve Brooks (Jan), Scott Brooks and Kathy Barnes (Ray); his grandchildren, Leigh Anne Gladson (Brent), Linsey Taylor (David), Adrian Fambro, Dalan Loudermilk, Brett Rice and Benjamin Loudermilk (Belzu); his stepgrandchildren, Cindy Chastain and Scott Howard; and his great grandchildren, Carson, Isabelle, Avery, Aubrianna, Bentley, Emilia, Zoey and Baby Yona. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
