She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Robinson and Esther McCray Robinson; her son Shane; her siblings, Glades, Wanda, Fay and Carlton; and her daughter-in-law Peggy Robinson.
She is survived by: her husband Blaine Barnett; her children, Dwight of Marble, NC, Dwayne "Peanut" of Hayesville, NC, Darryle (Mickie) of Concord, NC, Jody of Hayesville, NC, Kim of Charottlesville, VA and Carla of Murphy, NC; her stepdaughters, Stephanie and Caroline; and her siblings, Geneva (Dallas), Gaye (Mike), Jan (Cranvel) and Edwin "Eddie". She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild with another great great grandchild.
Flowers are being accepted or in lieu of flowers donations in Mrs. Barnett's memory can be made to the cemetery fund of the Fires Creek Baptist Church.
