He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Warren Kilpatrick, Sr. and Blanche Fox Kilpatrick; and his siblings, Fred Warren Kilpatrick, Jr., James "Pat" Kilpatrick, Dale Kilpatrick, Richard Kilpatrick, Gladys Keenum, Regina Ledford and Ruth Moss.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Kilpatrick; his children, Dwayne Kilpatrick (Carol) and Monica Holley-Sullivan (Tim); his grandchildren, Justin Mark Holley (Jewel Skykes) and Jayda Luann Holley; and his caregiver Allyson Brask.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel (138 Peachtree St, Murphy, NC 28906). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
