He was predeceased by : his parents, Everette Ware and Etheline Morgan Ware; and his siblings, Buck Ware, Paul, Jim Ware, Wilma Thompkins and Murrell Bishop.

He is survived by : his wife Brenda Rickett Ware; his children, Dawn Decker (Darrell), Tim Ware and Robbie Harbour (Lynn) of Ellijay; his siblings, Clyde "Doc" Ware of Murphy, Tommy Joe Ware (Mary) of Canton, GA, Wanda Pyles (Truman) of Jasper, GA and Opal Gonsalves (Jerry) of Murphy; and his grandchildren, Heather, Haley, Holly, Hannah, Harper, Shelby and Bristal. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
