He was predeceased by: his parents, George Winston and Pearl Hamby Stiles; his daughter Elizabeth Ann "Beth" Stiles; and his siblings, Diane Pate, Linn, Calvin and Delbert Stiles.
He is survived by: his fiancée Pamela Tollison of Murphy; his children, Brenda Godfrey, Jessie Stiles and Billy Jo Smith; and his stepson Dwayne Almond. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
