It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glada F. Martin of Murphy, North Carolina, born in Spencer, West Virginia, who passed away on July 20, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Coon and Eupha Sheppard Coon; and her children, Joan Hunt and Larry Martin. She is survived by: her son Jerry Martin of Murphy; and her sister Elwanda Webb of Lawton, Oklahoma. She is also survived by five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Glada F. Martin to REACH of Cherokee County, Inc., PO Box 977, Murphy, NC 28906.
