She was predeceased by: her father Paul Curtis; and her brother Robert "Ronnie" Curtis. She is survived by: her husband Gene Edward Shields; her sisters, Frances "Fran" Curtis King and Sylvia Curtis (Carroll Weaver); her children, Sandra Silvers (Michael) and Gregory Shields (Lisa); her grandchildren, Tyler Shields, Dylan Shields, Maria Stiles (Ray) and Amy Trull; and her stepgrandchildren, Megan Galloway (Lee) and Drew Silvers. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
