He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clay Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Wiggins Durrett; and his sister Linda Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Durrett; his sons, Darryl Durrett (Darla) of Zephyrhills, Brian Storey (Nevada) of Raleigh and Keith Storey of Pooler, Georgia; his brother Ray Durrett (Faye) of Murphy; his grandchildren, Andrea Jones (Michael), April Durrett (Albert), Jasmine Harris (Galens) and Nicholas Storey; and his great grandchildren, Carson and Brent Jones. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Clay Durrett to Gideons International, P.O. Box 164, Murphy, North Carolina 28906.
