It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hoyt Homer Picklesimer of Murphy, North Carolina, born in Ducktown, Tennessee, who passed away on January 19, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lush Picklesimer and Leta Picklesimer of Murphy; his wife Betty Picklesimer of Vernon, AL.; his children, Tony Picklesimer (Cindy), Jeff Picklesimer (Suzanne) and Known; his great grandchildren, Shane Picklesimer (Kathryn), Brandon Picklesimer (LeeAnn), Hunter Picklesimer (Bethany), Megan Pettus (Bart), Hudson, Harper, Henry, Lane, CaryAnn and Bennett; his friends, Joe, Nita Brown, Lavonne and Bunk Wilson; and also Keith Pugh.

Due to Covid concerns, there will not be a visitation.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Liberty Baptist Church.
