It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hugh Howell (Murphy, North Carolina), who passed away on August 31, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Hazel Mull, Barbara Howell, Lamar Howell and Loy Howell. He is survived by: his wife Lou Ellen Thornburg Howell; his daughter Cindy Howell; his daughter-in-law Eileen Lovingood; his sisters, Audrey Steenerson of Babbitt, MN and Bobbie Steenerson of Hiawassee, GA; and his sister-in-law Diris Howell Farmer of Hiawassee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
