He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his daughters, Annette Shook (Charles) of Brasstown and Jacki Stockton (Russell) of Brasstown; his grandchildren, Aneka James, Aleah Woodall, Damon Shook, Erika Simmons, Luke Thigpen, Ethan, Kiley, Kiera, Rose, Joshua and Hannah Stockton; his great grandchild Landry; his brother Frank Carpenter; and his nephew Ozell Carpenter. He is also survived by His grandchildren were the love of his life.
