He was predeceased by : his parents, Otis McClelland and Geneva James Tanner; and his sister Bobbie Jean Robertson. He is survived by : his wife Emma Swanson Tanner; his children, Gail Adams (Marvin) of Murphy, Tammy Roberts (Eldon) of Murphy, Rodney Tanner of Murphy and Lee Tanner (Crystal) of Murphy; and his grandchildren, Brent Adams (Jessica), Glen Roberts (Nicole), Amber Roberts, Cheryl Ouyang (Yung), Cassie Ledford (Mike), Josh Tanner (Allison Bateman), Dawson and Eli Tanner. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
