She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Shepherd and Lola Messer Shepherd; her siblings, Minnie Talley, Robert, John, Steve and Raymond Shepherd of Franklin, NC; her siblings-in-law, Sharon Hunsucker, Barbara, Judy Shepherd, George Tallent, Terry Hunsucker and Fred Talley; and her in-laws, J. D. and Dot Yonce.

She is survived by: her husband David Bruce Yonce; her daughter Jessica Mashburn (Ryan) of Murphy; her siblings, Betty Tallent (Jerry) of Greenville, SC, Roger (Maxine) of Chandler, NC and Ken (Shirley); her sisters-in-law, Dottie Raxter, Diana Dockery and Laverne Shepherd; and her grandchildren, Mason Lee and Ellie Brooke Mashburn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
