She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Blount and Annie Siler Blount. She is survived by: her children, Jamar Johnson, Jerran Johnson (Breanna) of Murphy and Victoria Johnson Bush of Murphy; her siblings, Rubin Blount of Murphy, NC, Eddie Blount of Loganville, GA, Herbert Arrington of Virginia Beach, VA, Thelena Turner (Eurial) of Murphy, NC, Cynthia Clavon (Charles) of Stonecrest, GA and Jenny O'Dell of St. Thomas; her sister-in-law Brenda Blount; and her grandchildren, Payton Bush, Porter Johnson, Langston and Krue Johnson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home (138 Peachtree St, Murphy, NC 28906). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel (138 Peachtree St, Murphy, NC 28906).
