He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Stone and Willie Opal Ledbetter Stone; and his daughter Cindy McTaggart. He is survived by: his wife Aurelia Wells Stone; and his children, Maria Vaill (Chris) and Jim A. Stone, Jr. (Ashely). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
