He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Baker, Sr. and Ruth Morgan Baker; and his siblings, Lloyd Baker Jr., William Baker and Ora Belle Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Sallie Coleman Baker; his daughter Michelle Baker (Orlando Oliver); his siblings, Allen Baker (Beth) and Wanda Hendry (Sid); and his granddaughter Jenniffer Medrano (Mark).
A funeral service was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (962 Old US Hwy 70, Black Mountain, NC 28711). A burial was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to American Cancer Society (Donate.cancer.org) or Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (vvmf.org).
