She was predeceased by : her parents, Garland Sr. Graves and Lou Graves; and her siblings, Juanita Killian, Jerry and Jimmy Graves.

She is survived by : her husband Robert Griggs; her siblings, Janet West (Willie) of Andrews, Jackie Graves Robinson of Murphy, Garland Graves Jr. (Nina) of Murphy, Johnny Graves (Debbie) of Sarasota and Jamie Graves (Susan) of Athens, Tennessee; and her close friends, Terry Clay, Dennis Key of Murphy and Deloris Griggs of Andrews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in memory of Judy Griggs be made to Logan's Run and Rescue.
