Kate C. Dockery Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kate C. Dockery (Murphy, North Carolina), born in Andrews, North Carolina, who passed away on October 31, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Jackson (Jack) and Mamie Sue Derreberry Conley of Andrews; and her husband Albert Dockery. She is survived by: her children, Roger Dockery (Kathy) of Memphis, Randy Dockery (Vickie) of Murphy, Butch Dockery (Paula) of Murphy and Joy Tipton of Murphy; and her sister Peggy Palmer of Doraville, Georgia. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandsons; several cousins; and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you send a donation to the ARC Foundation, PO Box 156, Murphy, NC 28906 as this was something very dear to Kate's heart.
