With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Edward Henson of Murphy, North Carolina, who passed away on July 13, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James "J. E." Edward Henson and Hattie Florence Sexton Henson; his wife Wendy Seegar Henson of Murphy; his son Kenny; his daughter-in-law Casey Henson of Murphy; his daughters, Amanda (Travis Dockery) and Sarah (Matthew Burrell); his brother Danny; his sister-in-law Mandy Henson of Blairsville; his sister Jane Henson of Murphy; and his grandchildren, Jack Dockery, Hannah Dockery, Della Henson, Kenny "Tripp" Henson III and Clay Burrell.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Little Brasstown Baptist Church (6120 Harshaw Rd, Murphy, NC 28902).
Flowers are accepted or if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Mr. Henson's memory.
