With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kermit Allen Graves of Murphy, North Carolina, who passed away on January 5, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Graves and Elva Killian Graves; his children, Vivian Hughes, Maureen Kent and Shane Graves; and his siblings, Don Graves, Godfrey Graves, Bobby Joe Graves, Minnice Dockery, Charlsie Kephart and Lenny Spivey.

He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Jo Taylor Graves; his children, Allen, Todd, Preston Graves and Sandra Dragoo; and his brother Jack Graves. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
