With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lillian Guffey of Murphy, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Charlie and Onia Moore Carringer; her son Walley Arrowood; her siblings, Dallas Carringer, Broadas Carringer, Jerry Carringer, Pat Carringer, Ralph Carringer, Mary Grace Palmer, Francis Carringer and Cherlene Green; and her grandson Jay Arrowood.
She is survived by: her husband Gene Guffey; her children, Joy Rose and Eddie Arrowood; her stepson David Guffey; her sister Kathy Duckworth; her granddaughter Angie Rich; her great grandchildren, Wendy Ward (Adam) and Channyn Killian (Levi); and her great great grandchildren, Addyson Ward, McKenna Ward, Ellyana Ward and Oaklee Killian.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations in memory of Faye be made to Old Fashioned Baptist Church in her memory.
