It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Hargis of Murphy, North Carolina, born in Lockland, Ohio, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Hargis and Rosa Lee Dykes Hargis; his wife Clara Hargis; and his grandson Jacob Hargis. He is survived by : his children, Sherry Hargis of Tampa, Rebecca Hargis of Oldsmar, Florida, Michael Hargis of Tampa and Chad Hargis (Daneen) of Camden; his brother William Hargis (Patricia) of Corpus Christi, Texas; and his grandchildren, Colin Hargis, Josef Hargis, Marlee Hargis and Taylor Hargis.
