It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Arella Reid of Murphy, North Carolina, who passed away on August 21, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert John and Violet Chastain Stephens; and her siblings, Luther Stephens, Kenneth Stephens, Imogene McCray, Doris Garrett, Effie Cohran and Ella Fay Wellen.

She is survived by: her husband Jack Dillard Reid; her daughter Deborah Reid (Robert); and her grandsons, Trevor and Evan Reid.

“Jack , Debbie , Robert, Trevor and Evan , I worked with Louise at Levi’s for over 25 years . She was a wonderful Christian lady that I enjoyed working with . I am so saddened to hear about her passing but we know by the life she lived where her eternal home is . May the family be comforted by the Good Lord . I wish I could be there for the visitation but with this Covid going around we are just trying to stay in . We love you all and you will be in my thoughts and prayers . Love Nina Chastain”
