He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Sr. Reason and Alice Mae Hardison Reason; his children, Anna and Christopher; and his brother Ernie.
He is survived by: his wife Eunice Reason; his children, Stacey, Monica, Tonya, Larry, James and Johnny; and his sisters, Theresa and Debra. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ivie Funeral Home (194 Peachtree St, Murphy, NC 28906). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
