It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Julie Garvy of Murphy, North Carolina, who passed away on June 1, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Edward; her daughters, Kristina Marecek and Rebecca Harrelson; her grandchildren, Ashley and Kali Blair; and her daughters, Chloe, Brittany Harrelson and Kennedy Starks. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to local animal shelters.
